SIMPLE MUSHROOM SOUP RECIPE
The stormy weather calls for creamy mushroom soup! Try this super simple recipe using our Misty Mountain Dried Shiitake Mushrooms. Available for purchase on our website in 8oz and 1lb pack sizes.
- 2 cups Misty Mountain Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 heaping tsp garlic powder
- 1 can Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
Place the dried shiitake mushrooms in a frying pan with the water. Cook until the water fully evaporates. Drizzle with olive oil and garlic powder. Let cook until the mushrooms are golden brown. Pour the Campbell’s mushroom soup, milk, and cooked mushrooms into a blender. Blend on medium until you reach desired consistency. Heat on the stove top and serve with thick, buttered baguette slices.
