Morel Season

ALL ABOUT MOREL MUSHROOMS

Morel season is coming baby!!

Morels are a type of wild mushroom that are foraged by mushroom hunters each Spring. These decadent mushrooms grow in wooded areas through North America and Europe. Warm and wet conditions help morels thrive. Once foraged they are found in fancy restaurants or sold at Farmers Markets. Morels share an earthy, nutty flavour and have a meaty texture. These wild mushrooms are fairly versatile and can be used in many different recipes.
