Misty Mountain Dried Star Anise is a wonderful spice with a sweet, warm flavour of licorice. It's majorly used in Pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup.
How to Use:
- Add whole as you would bay leaves, to infuse flavour into soups, stews, braised dishes, poached fruit, marinades, and discard when served
- Pairs well with pork and poultry dishes
- If you need ground star anise, grind whole stars in spice grinder or with a mortar and pestle
Storage:
- Store in a sealed container in a dark cupboard for up to 2 years
